Whether it comes from tobacco, cannabis (marijuana), or hookah, smoke is smoke and you need to limit your exposure to it. The Health Unit is encouraging municipalities or organizations to create smoke-free outdoor spaces through by-law and policy development.
The Smoke-Free Ontario Act came into effect May 31, 2006.
