The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit will be starting beach water quality testing program at 8 local beaches on June 12th, 2023. The beach water samples will be taken by Public Health Inspectors from Sandpoint Beach, Lakeshore Lakeview Park West Beach, Point Pelee North West Beach, Seacliff Park Beach, Cedar Island Beach, Cedar Beach, Colchester Beach, and Holiday Beach.
The University of Windsor and Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) are pleased to announce that three (3) new Canada Research Chairs focused on public health will be pursed by the University of Windsor, which will allow for the recruitment of leading public health experts to the Windsor-Essex region.
