
Breastfeeding Classes
Free in-person and virtual support for new and expecting parents.
We offer free 2-hour breastfeeding classes led by a Registered Nurse and or an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
In these sessions, you’ll learn how to:
- Position your baby for feeding
- Achieve a good latch
- Manage your milk supply
- Know if your baby is getting enough breast milk
Classes are designed for expecting parents and those with newborns.
Building Blocks for Better Babies (BBBB)
Supporting healthier pregnancies and thriving babies.
Building Blocks for Better Babies offers free weekly classes led by Registered Dietitians and Public Health Nurses. In a welcoming and supportive space, pregnant individuals and new parents can learn, connect, and grow together.
Services include:
- Prenatal and postpartum education
- Nutrition support and health education
- Grocery cards for families in need
- Healthy snacks and free vitamins
- Referrals to community programs like Healthy Babies Healthy Children and EarlyON Centres

The Expecting & Connecting Prenatal and Postnatal Program is free and open to everyone in Windsor-Essex County. The program is led by a registered midwife and lactation consultant.
