The following chart provides mortality rates for all cancers in Windsor and Essex County and Ontario from 2010-2015 as reported by Public Health Ontario. Although mortality rates for WEC are not yet available beyond 2015, the estimated mortality rate for 2018 for all cancers combined is 186.9 per 100,000 population (Ontario Cancer Registry, November 2016).

The following chart from Statistics Canada shows the trend in the rate of new cancers from 2009-2015 using a three-year average for each time point. For example, the 2009-2011 rate would be the average of the 2009, 2010, and 2011 rates for new cancers per 100,000 population. The trend is shown for males, females, and both sexes combined.
