The purpose of this dashboard is to provide a summary of respiratory disease activity in Windsor and Essex County
Personal Service Settings
Ontario Regulation 136/18 Personal Service Settings requires that WECHU regularly inspect and respond to complaints regarding infection prevention and also provide education to owners/operators and staff about safe practices that reduce the risk of transmitting infections to clients and staff during the delivery of personal settings.
Infectious Diseases Reports
The purpose of this dashboard is to provide annual and monthly counts of reportable diseases in Windsor and Essex County (WEC), along with annual disease rate for WEC and Ontario. The information presented allows for the identification of key trends in reportable diseases and health issues of local public health significance.
Beach Water Testing
The Health Unit conducts beach water quality monitoring at eight public beaches at least once each week from May to September to make sure that the bacterial (E.coli) counts in the water are below provincial standards.
Oral Health Data Dashboard
The purpose of this dashboard is to provide an overview of the oral health status in Windsor and Essex County. Population health data and information relevant to Ontario Public Health Standards is presented, along with screening and preventive services offered to our local residents.

These data provide valuable insights into self-harm morbidity and mortality in WEC and allow for comparisons of trends over time.

The infectious disease dashboard provides annual and monthly counts of reportable diseases in Windsor-Essex County, along with annual disease rates for Windsor-Essex County and Ontario.
The information contained allows for the identification of key trends in reportable diseases and health issues of local public health significance.
Local COVID-19 Vaccination Statistics
The purpose of this dashboard is to provide an overview of COVID-19 vaccination in Windsor-Essex County (WEC), including vaccine uptake and coverage. The dashboard displays temporal trends of doses administered and vaccine coverage by age and forward sortation areas (FSAs) for key indicators.
