Efforts by the WECHU are focused on delivering legislated programs, as well as mandatory program areas of consideration based on locally determined needs.
As such, the use of data pertaining to local health outcomes and inequities is used to directly inform the development and implementation of public health interventions.
This is accomplished with the goal of promoting, protecting, and improving the health and well-being of all Windsor and Essex County residents.
