A new colour coding system for health unit regions was introduced as part of these amendments and impacts the restrictions enforced in each region.

Right now, it is important to maintain social connections, but also do what we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19. There are many things you can do to make social gatherings special, but still protect those you care about.
Long-term care and Retirement homes are regularly monitored and supported by Public Health Inspectors and Public Health Nurses. Outbreaks are managed through mandated outbreak management protocols under the guidance of the Ministry of Health.
