On Friday May 29, 2026, the media is invited to the start of the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit’s active tick surveillance program. The media will be able to take photos and videos of how we monitor for the prevalence of black legged ticks in our area and ask questions to a member of Environmental Health Team about the program and the steps the community can take to protect themselves from Lyme disease.
