EarlyON Child and Family Centres
Free programming for parents and caregivers with children ages 0-6 years to foster a sense of belonging, well-being, and engagement. Parents/caregivers can bring their children for playtime and snacks at various locations across Windsor-Essex County.

Greater Essex County District School Board Day Camps
The GECDSB offers a three-week day camp every July for elementary students. These summer camps help develop students’ mindsets to be able to learn new things through active, inquiry-based activities. Diverse camps are available for English as a Second Language (ESL) and English Language Learners (ELL) students, French, indigenous, and black students.

Windsor Essex Community Housing Corporation (CHC) – Summer Rec Programs
The Summer Recreation Program is a free program for children ages 6 to 14 who live in CHC housing communities with an opportunity to participate in various positive recreational and social activities during the summer months. It gives them a chance to take part in fun and positive recreational and social activities during the summer.

South Essex Community Council –Summer Camp
A community-based day camp for children in grades one through eight that runs during the summer months. Financial help is available to those that qualify. See flyer for more details.

City of Windsor Recreation and Culture 
The City of Windsor offers summer day camps for youth 4 to 13 years of age. Youth can explore recreation through crafts, active time, sports, outdoor exploration, field trips and more. Financial assistance available through the Pathway 2 Potential Program . Registration for upcoming summer day camps is available by visiting www.ActiveWindsor.ca or by calling the Central Registration and Booking Team at 519-255-1161.

Town of Tecumseh
Weekly camps are available for youth 5 to 12 years of age. Activities may include games, sports, crafts, field trips, and more. Specialty camps available. To learn more about financial help, visit their website. Some rules apply.

Free swimming every Wednesday in July 1 to September 2 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Tecumseh Leisure Pool, located in Bert Lacasse Park.

Town of LaSalle
Weekly camps for children aged 4 to 12 years. Campers will participate in a variety of activities (sports, games, arts & crafts, and science experiments), including theme activity days, splash pad visits, and special events! Town of Essex 
Offers daily and weekly summer camps for youth 4 to 14 years of age. Early drop-off and late pick-up are available. Activities include swimming, science experiments, sports, bike rides and more. To learn more about financial help, visit their website. Some rules apply.

Municipality of Leamington  
Day camps for 4 to 12 year olds that include programs and activities such as physical activity, outdoor play, ice skating, swimming, crafts, field trips, and more! To learn more about financial help, visit their website. Some rules apply. 

Town of Amherstburg – Libro Centre
Day and weekly camps for youth 4 to 11 years of age, that include games, crafts, sports, and swimming. To learn more about financial help, visit their website. Some rules apply. 

Town of Kingsville
Day camps including cooperative games, sports, outdoor crafts and more for youth 4 to 12 years of age.  To learn more about financial help, visit their website. Some rules apply.


Grants

KidsSport Windsor

Apply for a grant to help cover the costs ofsports programs. Grants available for youth under 18 years of age and younger whose families would benefit from financial help. Grants of up to $250 per youth/per year 

Jumpstart

Grant funding for children may be given for a sport to physical activity. Sport programs should be a minimum of five weeks long and include at least one session per week. For sports camps, the program must last at least five days. Families must meet financial criteria as per Revenue Canada’s Low-Income Cut-Offs (LICO). Youth must also be 4 to 18 years of age.
