Small Changes Go a Long Way – Healthy Eating Challenge Banner

The “Take the Fight out of Food – Nutrition Month 2017” Challenge introduces a three-step approach to support individuals in naming their questions or concerns about nutrition and health, and offers ideas to help you bring joy back to eating. Try this three-step approach:

  1. Spot the problem. Identify your nutrition question or concern.
  2. Get the facts. Learn ways to find reliable nutrition information, and to separate nutrition fact from fiction when working to solve your question.
  3. Seek support. Seek help from regulated health care professionals, such as a doctor or a registered dietitian, for further support in solving your nutrition concerns.

The Online Challenge will use this approach to tackle five common food and nutrition concerns experienced by Canadians, including: food fads, digestive woes, picky eating, stress and eating, and preventing or managing a chronic condition (such as diabetes).
