The clinic did not have a hand wash sink, and was not operating in accordance with “PIDAC Best Practices for Hand Hygiene in All Health Care Settings

There are no detailed policies and procedures in place as per “PIDAC Infection Prevention and Control for Clinical Office Practice”, and “PIDAC Best Practices for Cleaning, Disinfection and Sterilization of Medical Equipment/Device”.

Reprocessing records for dates prior to March 2018 could not be provided.

To comply with hand hygiene requirements to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, the clinic shall install a hand wash sink and follow “PIDAC Best Practices for Hand Hygiene in All Health Care Settings”.

To comply with best practices with reprocessing equipment to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, the operator shall develop detailed policies and procedures as per “PIDAC Best Practices for Cleaning, Disinfection and Sterilization of Medical Equipment/Devices
