To: All Health Care Providers

Please be advised that the Vaccine Distribution Program at the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit will be undergoing a change to our inventory database and vaccines will not be available for distribution from June 22 to July 17.

To ensure your office has an adequate amount of vaccine available for your patients, we are asking that you:

  • Have your vaccine orders in to the health unit by June 17th
  • Order enough vaccine for a 4 week time period (June 17 to July 17)
     

Be sure to bring all of the required cold chain equipment with you, or the vaccine can not be released. The required cold chain equipment includes the following items:

  • Cooler
  • 2 frozen ice packs
  • 2 chilled water blankets
  • Thermometer
