Administrators must report absenteeism when:
- The school or centre has ≥20% absenteeism due to illness among students and/or staff, or
- There is concern regarding high absenteeism within a specific classroom or group (this can include instances of less than 20%).
How to report absenteeism:
- Complete the initial absenteeism report at: www.wechu.org/absenteeism-reporting.
- Once submitted, the Infectious Disease Prevention Department at the WECHU will the administrator within 1 (one) business day to provide further guidance.
