Based on information from Environment and Climate Change Canada, Dr. Mehdi Aloosh, Windsor-Essex County Health Unit’s Medical Officer of Health has ended the Extended Heat Warning.

Current outdoor temperatures and those forecasted by Environment and Climate Change Canada are below the threshold used by the Health Unit to continue an Extended Heat Warning.
