The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) has been seeking community input about supervised injection services (SIS) in Windsor and Essex County (WEC) since mid-October. This is to better understand the needs of our community and identify any questions or concerns related to SIS. This is a reminder that the survey closes December 17, 2018 at 11:59 PM. Adults over the age of 16 years who live, work, or go to school in WEC are encouraged to fill out the survey at www.wechu.org/sis.
“More than 1600 on-line surveys have been completed so far. In addition, focus groups have been conducted with key stakeholders and community groups, including local businesses, health services, and emergency services. It is important that we hear from as many people as possible.” says Theresa Marentette, Chief Executive Officer at the WECHU.
This survey is to better understand the needs of our community and identify any questions or concerns related to SIS and strategies to address such concerns.
