What is Meet Smart?
Meet Smart is a program that aims to encourage workplaces and community organizations to adopt policies and practices to lead healthier meetings, and to certify restaurants and caterers that work with the Health Unit’s Registered Dietitians to develop and offer healthier menu options. Both go hand in hand to promote healthy eating habits and a healthier food environment for everyone.
Employed adults spend the majority of their waking hours at work. Help keep employees healthy during meetings, workshops, and events by providing healthy choices at meetings and scheduling adequate breaks to break up sedentary time and encourage physical activity. Reduce absenteeism, improve morale and job satisfaction, increase employee productivity, and cultivate a healthy workplace culture by supporting employee health and well-being today!
