If your school is interested in increasing their sun safety, they can work towards becoming SunSense certified. This certification acknowledges schools that have created a sun safe environment to protect their students and staff. It is a comprehensive approach that engages the full school community (e.g., students, staff and parents) to create a sun-safe culture.

For more information, visit the SunSense Certification page from the Canadian Cancer Society.

Please note – Missed the registration deadline? Don’t worry! You can still form a working group to focus on these activities without registering for the certification. The certification guide is available through the Canadian Cancer Society page, and can be used without needing to officially register.
