The Planning and Strategic Initiatives Department is an interdisciplinary team focused on developing and implementing strategic processes and program improvements across the organization. The team is responsible for analysing, identifying, evaluating, and recommending improvements to business functions and processes. This includes facilitating training, participating in developing future state design efforts (with cost/benefit suggestions), and the creation of quality improvement implementation plans. The team plays a lead role in supporting the development tools for operational planning (creating links to the organization's strategies), and supports all departments in their program planning activities.
