The Immunization Program of Windsor-Essex County Health Unit works closely with
schools, child-care facilities and community physicians to ensure that
children in the city are protected against certain vaccine-preventable
diseases. Immunization is one of the most simple and effective ways to
protect children against serious childhood diseases.
