People and their dogs need to be active to be healthy. Sitting in front of computers, TVs, and in cars is contributing to less physical activity. So, get out there and walk the dog!
“Pets, like people, suffer the consequences to their health of a sedentary life-style and over nutrition. Veterinarians must treat pets daily for ailments for which the root cause is obesity and inactivity. Almost every dog would experience benefits from a daily walk with their owner in terms of better health, better quality of life and a longer life span.”
